C'est incomprehensible

How ironic that one of the first words you learn on this CD is 'incomprehensible'; and one of the first phrases is "This situation is incomprehensible and the results are going to be terrible". This just about sums up this package! Almost immediately it was like being thrown back into school with a characterless teacher and having to listen to recordings of French people speaking too quickly. I had to replay the initial part of the first CD over and over before I could understand the French speakers saying 'incomprehensible'. The teacher tries her best but she sounds like an English lady who speaks good French rather than a native speaker.

This is not a vocabulary course but a poor attempt to build up new phrases with the MT method. MT himself would turn in his grave because the teaching is sterile and you are rushed into complex and somewhat strange phrases. Somehow it just did not work for me.
